Great first half, it is a shame it unraveled in the second. Just convinces me they would have made the Sweet Sixteen and maybe Elite Eight if the committee gave us the right seed. Giving nebraska the 6 over us will never make sense. Hope all the seniors come back for one more run.

Ridiculous they play tournament games on home courts.

I just thought the same thing. If the women’s game wants to claim equality with the men, they need to play on neutral courts.

I think they tried that a few years ago and the attendance was horrible.

They did and you're right. HOWEVER, with attendance records being set for three straight years in the opening rounds, and women's basketball popularity at an all-time high, perhaps now is the time to try again. Maybe the powers that be could consider who power teams are and at least give them a CLOSE to home game, but not a FULL home court advantage, to keep attendance up. And not try the huge NBA or CHI-sized arenas, but try the 10-12K sized venues? Predetermined sites would also allow better prep and perhaps better experiences for all teams involved (awful story about Utah and how teams were staying 30 miles away from host sites because over lack of accommodations.)

Next Hoops twitter account reports that frosh McKayla Miller has entered portal per a "source." No clue if it is true, but wonder if staff will take any transfers this year

She also posted about a lot of the notable college volleyball entries and was accurate.

Paraphrasing here but Flan was asked about using the portal to replace the seniors during the UCLA post game presser. He basically said he expects that "the bulk" of the seniors will return. Said in general it isnt a big part of what they do but they aren't opposed to using it to stay competitive. He doesn't think they need to do so much this season given who they expect to return.

She’s Jeff Goodman’s daughter, so I would assume she is somewhat accurate (whatever you think of Jeff).

Would be sad to lose Miller … seems to have a lot of talent. But hard not to blame someone for not wanting to spend another year mostly on the bench behind a bunch of studs.
