Georgetown is leading X 6-3. If we could rally, we'd still be somewhat alive.

About to be 8 straight big east losses. 5-20 in our last 25 in conference. Someone stop the bleeding.

Now that it's clear Ed will be gone, here are some coaches I'd put on a list/hope to have Blossom hire:

Top choice: Bryant head coach Ryan Klosterman. He's 41. They are top of their conference every year. They are a northern team.

Dream:
Throw the bag at Brian O'Connor to come home.
Indiana St. coach.
Northeastern coach.

Non-reach
Illinois-chicago coach
Georgetown coach
Bowling Green coach
Columbia coach

If you're rounding the losses up and rounding the wins down during that stretch to make a point, well, okay, I guess. Otherwise, that's not quite right.

Creighton's gone 6-19 over the last 25 BE games, but 11-19 over the last 30, which means they were riding high, until they suddenly hit the skids. They went into some kind of death spiral last May 5, and haven't come out of it. But when you're going to use numbers and stats to make a case, and they're wrong, it seems to me you're undermining your credibility, even if just a little.

5 and 19 over last 24. My fault... I was off by 1 game. After we lose these next 2 it will be 5 and 21. And 10 straight. It is currently 8 straight. What a mistake I made... really hurts my point. What's your deal. Make the correction, without the personal shots. We're all on the same side here. It's a message board.

How’s that personal? You chose to use numbers to make your case, you got your numbers a little bit wrong, and you got caught. You’ve taken over this thread, you’ve already fired our coach of over 20 years, and it looks like you’re ready to hire the next one. You shouldn’t be so defensive. Or, frankly, such a jerk. (See, THAT was personal).

It's a message board. Do you own it? There are 32 pages per game on basketball threads and people post multiple times per game. It's not my fault others aren't posting. There are a grand total of 15 pages for the entire baseball season. And you want to call me out for posting?

You haven't written any defense of Ed or why he should be retained after missing the conference tournament 2 years in a row. Other than longevity.

Ironic, since you’re the one who seems to own this little corner of the message board, seeing as how your incessant posts suck all the oxygen out of it.

I’ve never once argued for Ed’s retention. It’s not my job to defend him, just as it’s not your job to fire him. Now, I could easily make the case based on body of work over two decades, and I wouldn’t have to cherry-pick partial season numbers to do it. But something’s clearly wrong over these last two BE seasons, and that needs to be dealt with.

But I would treat Ed with the dignity he deserves, rather than perp walk him out of the building with a week left in the season, like I’m taking out yesterday’s trash.

Oh, and you can combine posts that are two minutes apart, you know, rather than keep putting up new posts all the time. But since you now own this forum, I guess you’ll do whatever you want, including firing and hiring coaches.

Just want to say that I enjoy tdjay114’s updates on what’s going on with the baseball team even though he is a bit negative. I don’t think it’s that serious for him to say that he wants to fire Ed/list other coaches we could hire. It’s a message board, it’s for people to share opinions. Not really his fault barely anyone else posts in this thread.
