Flan's had a good season but only 1 conference tournament title in 15 years is pathetic.

No doubt the year has been successful.

BET has to get away from holding the tournament on campus. Marquette getting to play on its home court is wrong. Hopefully, their winning the tournament hasn't knocked CU out, despite a great year. If the MVC can have its tournament at a neutral site, there is no reason for BE to not do the same. Its not like that many more people attended the games because it was in Marquette. Put it in an appropriate sized arena at a neutral site. There are so many 3-5,000 seat arenas around the country that would be perfect for it that I would think they could get one at a decent price.

Womens team is a lock. As far as the tourney, im not sure anyone would be there if its at a neutral site.

The women's tourney has to be on a home court for dollars and atmosphere, but put it on the home court of the highest seed.

This doesn't seem realistic at all

I think it would be largely the same people that attend now. Family, friends and alum in the area. And some student support such as was in Milwaukee. MVC has a neutral site tournament, as do many other conferences, even for women. MVC is in the quad cities this year, which is even harder to get to than St. Louis for teams and fans (though somewhat centrally located). Anyway, not a fan of conference tournaments at home sites (but if its a CU next year, perhaps I will change my mind).

Creighton has an RPI of 24, shared the league title with DePaul by three full games over Marquette and swept the Golden Eagles during the regular season. They are more of a lock than for an at-large than their counterpart on the men's side, and it's been that way for a few weeks now.

Ladies get a 7 seed and play Toledo on Friday. Second round against Oregon State. Games in Corvallis, Oregon.
