Creighton was so close to benefitting from what would have been the first-ever upset of a 15-over-2 in WBB NCAA history. But regardless, to advance they'll have to get it done on the opponent's home floor. Gotta love WBB with the home courts. Hard to see the team outperforming their averages 2 games in a row in the NCAA, but with the experience on this team it's possible to hope. Creighton's team isn't really well-built for the postseason, considering they over-rely on great passing leading to 2-point shots and aren't good at getting to the line, rebounding, or generating turnovers. Yet when they are clicking, they defend in the half court well and can beat anyone outside of the top five teams in the country. Need Janning and Lamberty to be on their games simultaneously.
"I want to beat (NU) so bad. This is a blue state...I’m a Creighton Bluejay. I’ve always wanted to go to Creighton...never really liked Nebraska...Creighton trusted me and Nebraska was just…out there...Can’t wait to play ’em..." ~Justin Patton
