"Rejoining the Creighton athletic staff for the first time since 2002, Yori's specific duties include working with the Bluejay women's basketball staff to create and develop game strategy, scout Creighton's opponents and participate in on-campus recruiting."

Just on-campus. But certainly can help the staff in identifying talent, including broadening the scope from Iowa/Neb/Minnesota to even international.

Ras has stated publicly (interview with Dirk) that Connie got a raw deal from NU, and that he has tremendous respect for her as a coach and person, and it’s 100% certain that he totally backed (and maybe arranged for) her return to the hilltop.
"I want to beat (NU) so bad. This is a blue state...I’m a Creighton Bluejay. I’ve always wanted to go to Creighton...never really liked Nebraska...Creighton trusted me and Nebraska was just…out there...Can’t wait to play ’em..." ~Justin Patton

Flan should be given credit for being secure enough to Support her being part of the program too. Of course, I am assuming he did wihthout any inside info.

Shatel,

Later, Yori interrupted an answer to a question about her role at Creighton.

“I want to go back to the Nebraska thing, and this needs to be said,” Yori said. “Most of the things that were said and written about me were just not true. They’re inaccurate.

“I do want you to know that. That’s just not the way it went down. Like I said, I left for family reasons. I know people won’t believe that, but that’s just how it happened.”

Fake news out of UNL reprinted by the Pravda Journal Star.
I love Creighton basketball. Yes, I do. I love Creighton. How about you?

“ignorance is bliss; truly bliss.” Creighton professor Ron Volkmer.

I am glad she is back and thought that UNL handled the situation poorly.
I wonder, though, if she is possibly being groomed for Athletic Director at Creighton whenever Bruce wishes to step down? Not at all certain of her administrative abilities but her role with the Women's team seems rather nebulous...
