Are any of us surprised? Grace Bible College would have been a tie but Akron, we can knock off.

To be fair, they tried like hell to give it away. Up 3-0 at the 87 minute mark and tried to completely collapse in the final three minutes. Gave up 2 goals in about 2:30 during that time. One more minute of play and Akron probably would have found a way to get two more and walk away with a win. Big win that shows there is potential to beat anyone, and a final 3 minutes that reminds everyone that there is also potential to lose to anyone.

Luckily Akron only had 10 seconds left after the 2nd goal, another 5 minutes and they probably would have tied it...

No chance it would have taken another 5 minutes.

Akron was very mad at the one referee for not calling offsides on the first two CU goals. They had a point based on my view. But those are the breaks, and I am glad we got the W. Big one tomorrow; last home game of the year.

Nah. On the second one, for sure, the guys who might arguably have been offside were nowhere near being involved in the play at all.

The side official in front of the Jays bench made about three offsides calls that were roughly a mile wrong, though.

He definitely called more offsides after Akron argued the two goals.
