It is only one metric but CU should be the 5 seed in its bracket. Underseeded/undervauled.

The Jays have better metrics this year but a worse seed. Rough stuff. Hope the Jays can pull off a couple wins, but seems like a tall task.

Based on a limited sample size for the women, it seems like the men's and women's committees emphasized metrics differently this year.

Creighton just took a 14-12 lead. 4 of their points are off Brake offensive boards and pushbacks. Jensen and Horan have both hit from deep too.

Creighton ends 1st quarter on a 16-6 run to take a 23-16 lead into the 2nd. Jensen is 3-3 from 3 and Horan is 2-2 deom 3. Announcers keep referencing UNLV coach as saying she was more worried about Creighton in the paint than 3s (I haven't seen exact quote)

Creighton has a 44-32 lead going into half. LJ banked in a deep 3 off the dribble but she was just a bit late getting it off.

Creighton is also shooting really well. Maly, Jensen, and Horan are 10-13 from 3 (including 3-3 from Horan).

Creighton up 65-53 at the end of 3. Ronsiek was scoreless in the first half and then took over in the 3rd with 16 points.

Great shooting night for the Jays. I’ve lost track of how many threes we’ve made but it must be around 15.

Sucks that we’ll need to play UCLA in a road game next, but if we shoot like this we can win.
