The resume is pretty similar to last season, with more wins. So I'd hope a 6 seed would be doable again, but who knows.

Oh my gosh, that's absurd! There is no way they should be any lower than a 6! Wow. Their regular-season resume has never looked better, two noticeable duds against UConn and one stinker in the BE tourney = ALL of their losses in calendar 2024. That's it. Just those three. Not sure what else they could have done - outside of play more competitively in their three losses. But man, that would be tough to see a 7 next to them.

My memory is that the bracketologists on the women's side tend to underseed CU. So I am hoping that the Jays will get a 5 or a 6. Frankly, I think they are deserving of being a four and hosting, but since they were never in the top 16 from the committee, I doubt that will happen.

Creighton is a 7 seed. They'll play UNLV.

Iowa, UCLA, and LSU are the top 3 seeds in their region.

Top 25 team all year long, so a 7 seed?

Their region is stacked too. I thought if Creighton or Nebraska was going to get a 6 seed, it would have been Creighton.

It's possible that the only worse seeding crime than Creighton is UNLV. 30-2, Mtn West champs, and ranked higher than Creighton in both polls. Yet...a 10 seed. And, we get 'em.

Committee not doing Jays any favors. Short flight/drive from Vegas to LA. Gonna be tough. Should’ve been in Corvallis where Huskers went

Feel bad for the Women getting underseeded by the committee. Great season and their reward is a 7 and UCLA in la for a second round match up. Didn't get much credit for piling up wins in the Big East outside of Uconn. Deserved better.

You're assuming they clear UNLV. That in itself is a very tall order, and I'd be surprised if they're even favored.

Would love to know if the committee had a side-by-side comparison of Creighton and Nebraska. It seems clear to me we should have had their 6 seed and they should have had our 7 seed. Head-to-Head we beat them, further we only had 5 losses to their 11. Yes, they beat Iowa but I still think the committee got those two reversed. Wonder if the ugly loss to Georgetown in the Big East tournament may have had an effect at all? Seems like the women's side is heavily biased in favor of the big name schools and it is really tough to get a fair shake if you are not one of them. Hoping the team can go on a run and prove to the committee they screwed up our seeding.
