Just because I'm still bitter - I would like to point out the fact that VT lost to Appalachian State today. Feel free to ignore this.

Transferring from Vtech and back on the market. Let’s go get us an athletic guard.

Have to wonder what happened last year with him being dismissed from the team. Watched him play some as a younger player and he has quite the motor and is a defensive presence. I trust the coaches will reach out if the baggage isn’t too heavy. Immediately eligible.

Interesting quote:

“Chris has the desire to play the point guard at the level,” Clarkes father, Curt Clake, told Rivals.com. “More importantly, he is looking towards developing a strong relationship with the new staff and for a place that will challenge him to reach his maximum abilities.”

Further, found this from the Roanoke paper back when he was suspended:

Chris Clarke, who was indefinitely suspended from the Virginia Tech men's basketball team last October, has been charged with one misdemeanor count of marijuana possession

If he got kicked off the team for getting caught with weed, I could not care less. Go get him IMO

Not so fast Tonto...It was $6K worth of weed... Under $10K is a misdemeanor in Barefoot Country (Virginia, West Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky, parts of North Carolina).
Favorite local pasttime: knocking up your (any available) sister and Auntie M. ;) (Sarcasm...6K reference...Creighton sensitivities...get it.)

Doesn't he make the most sense? We were in the final 3 with VT and Tenn, right? He originally committed to Tenn and then changed to VT. Like Coach Mac always says, it is important to not burn bridges with the player in case something happens down the line (eg Marcus Foster).

Nebraska had almost no one on their roster with the amount of turnover and defections they were going through.

We have one open scholarship with our entire starting five (tentatively) returning. Do you expect us to be signing a bunch of 2019 recruits and transfers right now?
