I guess Bo Ryan saw things in Illikainen we didn't, Wisconsin gets the commit

Or, it is what happens when you lose out on every single one of your preferred big man recruits (which Wisconsin did).

Really nice landing spot for him. Almost seemed to overplay his hand, as his early suitors took other commits and moved on. But Wisconsin and Ryan are about as good as it gets for a Midwestern big guy. Based on the little bit I read about Alex, he'll need to get more physical and improve his rebounding to get in Ryan's circle of trust, so to speak. But, I think he could have a very nice career. Would have liked to see him in blue and white.
