Mentioning tonight that he is playing in front of coaches from St Louis, Michigan and Creighton.

Looks like your prototype Creighton stretch 4. That may become the prototype 3 over the next few years.

It’s hard to believe Boudreaux is only a sophomore when you watch how strong and fundamental he plays. His determination on the glass is excellent as he constantly wins 50-50 plays and finishes very well around the hoop. To boot, he showed off his perimeter capabilities, knocking in a couple deeper shots. Boudreaux’s stock keeps rising... He wound up with an impressive 22 points.

Boudreaux was unstoppable Sunday morning, going for 28 points in a win over KC Run GMC in the 17U quarterfinals. Boudreaux was scoring from inside and out, knocking down 3-pointers, and taking slower defenders off the dribble. Boudreaux then scored a team-high 14 points against the Wisconsin to get NLP to the 17U finals.

Boudreaux was rock-solid all weekend as his team captured the 17s title. A physical interior presence – although undersized – Boudreaux will also mix in his skills and take defenders off the bounce or shoot a faceup jumper out to the three-point line.

The Co-MVP of the 17U division more than earned that recognition last weekend. Boudreaux scored in double figures in all three games Sunday, including a 28-point performance in the quarterfinal win over KC Run GMC. Boudreaux is always going to be aggressive in the post and on the glass, but the sophomore is quickly expanding his game to the perimeter, as he shot well from 3-point range all weekend.

Boudreaux is a tad undersized on the interior and is also playing a grade level up, but he’s a rugged and physical forward with some developing skills. Boudreaux has improved the consistency on his jumper and can stretch it out the three-point line and also has the ability to put it on the floor a little bit. Evan also crashes the glass on both ends and gets to the free throw line a solid amount. He’s off to a great start this spring and helped lead Team NLP to the championship and was named co-MVP with Kurt Hall.

Evan is reopening his recruitment. He was committed to X. He has not signed LOI so he should be fair game for us. Grad Transfer with 2 years to play. Go Jays!

6-8, physical player...would be a good pickup.
