Creighton joins the Big East next season along with Butler and Xavier and will play the Big East Tournament at Madison Square Garden, as well as making annual trips to St. John’s and Seton Hall.

“He was really really excited for them to be there,” Christ the King coach Joe Arbitello told SNY.tv.

“He said they win and they’re going to the Big East so a lot of my games will be at home.”

I sure hope we still have a scholie to give by May but I'm sure we can "make" room. Someone on a GW board says he is visiting K-State and Creighton this week, not sure if that is true or not.

Wow. Evaluated 3/25/2013: "At first glance Severe doesn't have any noticeable flaws". NY Basketball POY? What would be our highest rated recruit?

We need to offer this guy ASAP. The rhetoric of that article made it seem like Severe changed his announcement plans specifically because Creighton got involved. Let's land this puppy

May 22 is after the LOI period which ends on May 15 Soooooo he would not be beholden to anyone even if he "declares" for someone on May 22. He will be a free agent until he enrolls and shows up for his first class (summer school in June you would presume).

If schools only have one ride available they may take a bird in the hand with someone else first.

I like this kid a lot and he's the first sign of the impact the Big East will have on recruiting for us.
