Saw him on Goodman's transfer list but at 5'11 I didn't think he fit the profile of player type we need...interesting.

Not saying Hinds is on this level, but Peyton Siva is 5'11 and Russ Smith is 6'0 - guards don't need to be tall if they are drivers.

Here's a different question.

There was speculation last offseason that when the NCAA meets they might change the transfer rule, where transfers with a 2.6 or better GPA can play immediately. Then all that talk went away and I haven't heard anything since.

Does anyone else have any insight on this?

There are rumors that the NCAA might allow the Rutgers transfers to play right away due to the Rice incident.

Transfers list continues to grow. Alabama, Marshall, others.

Decommits continue (UCLA, others) http://rivalshoops.rivals.com/

I always find "the school is out $7,000 if he goes to summer school" idea to be a farce. School is school and those classes will occur whether he is in that room or not. Thus, the school is out the food it provides him and MAYBE the room costs although dorms are mostly empty in the summer so that is more likely Purdue is out the food costs and the utilities he uses in the dorm.

What a joke of an argument.

Add Alabama starting guard Trevor Lacey to the list of kids transferring...
