agree 100% - the only thing that could make coleman better is if he were a 5th year and immediately eligible

but then the tradeoff there is we'd have him for two years.

i hope we have a shot here - one because he's what we need - and two - because i think MSP is producing some good talent and it'd be nice to make some more inroads there

issue becomes does his recruitment hurt the recruitment of an elite SG in 2014, ie. Jared Terrell

Let's see if we can even get Coleman first, then we can worry about that...

my thought on that is - any player that doesn't want to compete for playing time - and think he's better than who is currently in "his" spot - and earn that PT

is a player i don't really want

With likely 3 scholies available (not sure about Norton but the fact that we are still actively recruiting for a 2014 PG tells me he will decommit), we need to fill PG, SG and SF. Having either Coleman or Terrell would be a blessing so I say whoever bites first.

Tell your spiel to the Bigs: Myles Turner, Tory Miller, and Reid Travis.

We've got effort, interest, and time invested in the class of 2014. We are in on several very good recruits and a few elite ones also. Let's play out the hand we've been dealt in the recruiting of the 2014 and 2015 kids.

gtmo has his "fixation" for the 2014 class...Reid Travis.

Dude, we have ZERO chance with him. He is wanting to try and play two sports, football and basketball, and we haven't been mentioned in a story about him for a year+ now.

There haven't been any Tory Miller sightings either.

Turner is definitely on the radar. He must be awfully good as we are fixated on smalls for 2014. I guess when a 7 footer shows interest you show interest back as they don't grow on trees!!!

I agree, we don't need a center but if Turner wants to come, we make room for him.

We have the bodies, but how they'll play out in the new league is still undetermined. We might need help there but not yet realize it.

My concern about Coleman is that he was just 2 of 8 from 3 as a frosh and 8 of 27 from 3 as a soph. I know he has hops and athleticism but I like my SG's to shoot.
