Jerry Meyer is now also reporting that Jalen is indeed announcing on Wednesday as was rumored, and is down to Illinois and Villanova. That's one heck of a pickup for 'Nova and the Big East if it happens, which is looking very likely.

Wanting the conference to continue to recruit well - do well, rah, rah, rah! However, if they aren't coming to Creighton, I'd just as soon prefer them to go to hell...or at least the PAC-12, so we would not have to deal with them.

Add Brunson to the list of kids that Mo will have to give a "clinic" to, as the Jays continue their annual beatdowns on Jay Wright and his cats. As for Ellenson (oh well) should be some great battles btwn Justin & Henry in the year(s) (2015) ahead.

These are very critical years for the Big East. We need the league to do well and recruiting is the key to that. If we can't recruit kids to Creighton, I want the reason to be the staff instead of the league.

Couldn't disagree more. With the ever changing landscape of college athletics, it is in Creighton's best long-term interests to have the Big East schools be very successful in basketball. A rising tide lifts all boats.

Absolutely!!! Big East success=$$$$$$$$/prestige. League underperformed in its first year according to most.
