Is trying to get Josh even realistic at this point? He's good, real good

There was a tweet last night saying he was visiting UCLA and USC soon to which I responded, "he needs to visit Creighton too!"

He favorited my tweet so we have that going for us.

In the Benson thread... Hilltopalum stated we were on him...

that is a good question. I feel they have 4 guys they like at PG besides Norton, and it they will take any one of: Casey Benson, Sandy Cohen, Lowrawls Narin and Josh Perkins.

He has a long list, but we probably have a reasonable shot...Colorado took Collier. Yes, Perkins is a "swing for the fences" kind of recruit, and we evidently have taken our shot to get him. Definitely worth the efforts. He is a "program changer" type of recruit.

says we've offered - of course everyone has offered

leaving RJ to go to prep school at Hunington Prep

of course - landing this kid would be the longest of long shots

Cuts list to 5 schools: Minnesota, Kentucky, UCONN, Gonzaga, UCLA

I don't think it is a big surprise that we weren't in the mix for this one.

Scout Bluejay Report is denying the report that Perkins has cut schools to 5 as was reported.

I'd put the odds of us getting Josh just south of zero personally.
