Reopening? Who did he commit to? All I see is that he is gonna make a final decision on Tuesday between SMU, Minnesota, Columbia and Rice......I assumed we stopped recruiting him.

I guess your shit stinks as much as the next guy:

@tyler11williams: After talking it over with my family we have decided to push my Decision day back to a date to be determined, opening up to all schools.

Thanks, I'm assuming other schools are now interested...

Not a very highly rated recruit - and it sounds like he's more of a mid-range shooter than a perimeter oriented SG, which doesn't sound like a great fit in our offense.

Cross Clarke off the list. Not much left on the board, no offense to our few remaining offers.
The last two spots will likely have to wait until Spring. We're going to need good transfers...
Probably going to get some flack for this, but I'm a bit disappointed with this class so far. While we've gotten a very talented Center and a promising PG, we've missed out on so many of our top recruits.

I agree, pretty disappointing recruiting class so far. Without Patton, this would be a disaster IMO. We've lost out on all our top highly recruited targets. I say keep the two scholies for a transfer in the spring and pocket the other for 2016. I think the team will be very good in 2015 but we will need a great class in 2016.

Jet, what is your logic for leaving one open? I'm not very big on having one unfilled for a year. I'd rather we bring in a Grad transfer who can at the very least could contribute in practice for a season. Also, that would leave us with 3 to fill for 2016.

Figured our biggest need right now is a SG/SF who can shoot. Fill that with a transfer. Of course, this will also depend on how this season plays out. If Milliken/Harrell/Zierden fill that shooting void, maybe we won't need one and have a need somewhere else.

OK. Just wondering.

We still need an athletic wing that can guard the perimeter. Now while it sounds like Cole Huff can be that guy next year, it's always okay to have multiple guys that can fill that role in this new, more athletic league we are playing in.

Without Patton, we'd be an even bigger laughing stock in the Big East.
