I kinda thought this was a done deal from the start for Marquette. It was just too perfect of a coincidence that Marquette, who just so happens to be the kid's hometown, has a big guy transfer out that was supposed to be their starter next year. Add to that no time visit other schools and it isn't shocking that he picks a school in his hometown.

It was nice to be in the running, but the fit was very good for him at Marquette. Now, we might be the perfect fit for Illikainen as well. In our system, we could find a million ways for him to score.

For him, he just needs to have a way to be a student (not even sure if it needs to be full time) for a semester before going on scholarship next year. He still has another 3.5 years on scholarship, so this is kind of like prepping for grad school when he's a senior.

If he got there this year, he started with 5 to play 4. He's used up .5 by the first semester (both playing clock and time) so he should have 4.5 to play 3.5....If he uses up the 1 to sit out the transfer, he should have 3.5 to play 3.5
