Is this about the time when someone brings up the fact that the coaching staff isn't doing a good job closing the deal on all of these recruits who put us in their top five, but don't commit? Or is that later?

I admittedly don't know the recruiting side of things very well, so set me straight. Can somebody explain why I shouldn't be this discouraged?

Yes, it is but no criticism of the recruiting allowed on this site.

There is only 1 2016 scholly currently open so I think the staff can be pretty selective. There are still some big time targets that have yet to decide where they will be going. The Jays look to have some decent pieces in the 2015 class by all accounts even after missing out on Top 100 guys that visited campus last fall. The 2017 class will be a large class and you would be OK to be disappointed without a commitment at this time next year.

I still think we will get a commitment from 2016 PF Lucas Siewert shortly.

2016 SG/SF Terrance Ferguson, from Dallas...decommit from Alabama.

2016 SG Tyson Jolly, from Oklahoma... backing out of Cal committment...We offered back in 2015.
We probably have enough SGs??

Given the uncertainty at Cal, I have decided 2 ask out of my LOI and re-open my recruitment. This was not an easy decision, but the right 1.

From my limited vantage point - only 3. None of which we can get.

Texas' Bolden and Jarrett Allen.
Florida's Bruno Fernando.

Gonna have to uncover another "diamond" or a transfer in order to gain another Big in 2016.

Any chance left for Nick Rackcevic? Been a while since heard anything? Figured ship sailed?
