ESPN shows him as "considering".

Haven't heard much about him. Anyone have any info?

Seems to be known in-state, otherwise a "sleeper". Nothing on Future150. 247 ??

Zurtuche article from 2012... http://texashoops.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1317222.

portion:
Kaelen Malone, 2014, 5-foot-10, PG, McKinney Christian… Malone is a quick and very fast guard that looked very comfortable against the Garland Christian defense. The lefty has a soft floater and can hit the open three. He tried to get everyone involved, passing on some scoring opportunities. Malone played an unselfish game, but still finished with 12 points. Malone can zip the ball up court and knows where to place the ball for his teammates. He has a good understanding of the game and can get steals on the defensive end.

Our coaches are astute judges of talent - evidently Malone has developed and/or is undervalued.

Coach's son, high BB IQ, quick, good handle, shoots from all 3 zones...? Diamond perhaps?

I wonder if he was injured last summer and couldn't play all the AAU games?

I find it hard to believe if his dad founded the AAU program, that this kid has flown under the radar.

Joey Tempo didn't mention Malone, but I'm curious as to what the situation is with him.

It appears the recruiting sites have added more teams that are interested in him: including USC, UTEP, Texas Tech, and UCF.

Mystery. Can't find anything relevant from the last 2 years.

Ugh, those are some pretty far down names. I'll believe we watched the kid play but wouldn't think we are heavily involved.

Other than Graham, there are just no 2014 pgs left imo.
