Why? Was the coaching staff hot to trot over the HS Nurse also...n Tharpe beat'em to the punch? The kid is a local hero in Lawrence now.

Elijah Brown transferring from Butler and 1 hour later, Indiana transfer Austin Etherington transfers to Butler. Lots of turnover there.

Two double digit scorers, TaShawn Thomas (15 & 8) and Danuel House (14 & 5), are transferring from Houston. Following a recent trend, Houston has not released them to play for any other Texas schools.
I do not remember if we showed any interest in either guy out of HS, but they are both native Texans and were pretty highly ranked. Can't help but wonder with our Texas connections whether we wouldn't be interested now... Thomas would be a junior with one year of eligibility and House would be a junior with two years left.

Cohen and Hill were the big pieces. He got one of them in Cohen.

Ricky Kreklow is transferring from Cal and will be eligible immediately. Doubt we pursuit him as he is similar player to Dingman, but interesting as we recruited him heavily out of HS
