this is pretty awesome for justin - and hopefully something Mac and co can parlay telling this story (come play with a 5*) to more top regarded kids

plus - JP is a little different than say ellenson or other 5* guys - in that this isn't a short stop on the way to the NBA - it seems he knows that he has a lot of work to put in both S&C and on the court to get himself to that level.

Wow, thats a big time rating. I hope he can live up to these expectations.

I don't know if any of these ratings really mean much, even this one, but three takeaways I get from it anyway:

--that's some elite company Patton's keeping. He's even ranked ahead of Brunson, who's pretty much hands down the top prospect to come out of Illinois this year (although some Chicago kids might disagree);

--there are eight centers in the top 25. If they all stick around and develop, there could be a wave of quality bigs in college basketball in a year or two; and

--Patton is listed as "NE POS rank: 2". Does that mean they think there's somebody even better in Nebraska? Who??
