Refuse to get my hopes up.

Does anyone feel like he would have already committed to St John's if he was going to go there? I am surprised he cancelled that Minnesota visit.

He wanted to see Providence. He has. He knows that the place for him is in one of those 3 schools - could be any one of them.

Well it looks like we'll be seeing him a lot the rest of the decade whether it's 2/3 times per year or every game. All depends on what the kid wants but I know I'd take a shot to play with Mo and Marcus for a year before taking the reins of the team with a solid front court for 2/3 more years. Both Providence and St Johns are big question marks after this season.

"Several sources The Post spoke to on Friday said Ponds wants to pick St. John’s, has wanted to commit there for some time, has told friends his intentions, but members of his family feel leaving home would be a better choice for his growth and development."

This has taken an interesting turn. Well its pretty clear now why we kept hearing he was a st johns lean but there was no pulling the trigger. I read on the Johnny Jungle board the PC staff has pointed out to Shamorie there are no African Americans on the st johns staff...don't know what to make of that if its true

Here's the thread:

regardless, it looks like we have been counted out, at least by the other fanbases

The article says "He would likely be Creighton’s number one scoring option from the onset next year."

I'm thinking that I don't agree with that.

You don't really expect them New Yawkers to pay attention to what happens way out here on the frontier...?
