I think it's awesome we got him on an official. You have to think we are behind sju (or at least were before this weekend) and we might be behind Minnesota too. Is he a Murphy recruit?

Shamorie already knew of Creighton, according to his HS Coach. We got an official visit and he was able to see the campus and facilities firsthand. Creighton offers a great package and PG Ponds now knows that directly. Imho the Jays are firmly in the mix for his services. This is a good shot for a recruiting win.

Hmmm, interesting considering comments came hours after he returned from Omaha.

Hope I am wrong, but reading between the lines it sounds like he is a lien to St. John's. :(

Tough to pull a player out of his home area, and can't fault him for it.

But he could really be part of something special here if he decides to be a Jay!

I'm not seeing the reason for glumness. That story said absolutely nothing.

Yeah, I'm with LJay. There really isn't much there in terms of enthusiasm for anyone. Pretty bland article all around. We'll just have to wait and see, but I think we're in a good spot right now.

Would we feel better being Providence where he hasn't talked to the coach yet?
