Re: 2016 PG Shamorie Ponds (Offered)

I really won't be bothered to miss out on Ponds. I think it's been pretty clear for a while that he was SJU's to lose.
Besides, I am in the minority in believing that a post player is more important than a PG for that last scholarship. We could then go out and get a grad transfer or solid frosh PG next spring. We could also put Marcus at the point, since it seems he has been interested in that in the past, with Khyri at the other guard spot.
Even if we don't go that route, getting a quality PG in the transfer market is very realistic in this day in age and would guarantee a successor to Mo.

May or may not be better than Ponds, could be a great 1 - 2 punch with Ponds, or could blow out a wheel his first game. Which is why you keep trying to get the best players you can get.

Committed to SJU.

They were waiting to commit until Slice dropped off the suitcase.

In any event, I bet the pumpers will be talking themselves into the JUCO PG that commits to CU in February.

Now that the side show is over, let's go get that 6'10" shooting guard discussed in another thread.

No visit in September and reading his latest "tweets", hope the interest is still there.
