I think it's down to Oregon, Texas & DePaul for Bowen now. Let's move on.

Just give me the UMass transfers and let's go. Yes, I realize they won't be eligible next season and I don't know if that's desperation or not, but I'm tired of having two empty roster spots. Giving me anxiety.

I hope he drags it out until August.

Also saw he's taking an unofficial to Wayne State, so maybe they're the sleeper.

Wayne State is the Creighton connection as Mac was their head coach for 5 years. Now it's a sure thing, Bowen is becoming Bluejay.

I'll be shocked when he makes a decision.

Bowen is waiting to commit to Creighton when this thread makes it to 100. He's counting right now, 85,86,87,88,.........

Having two open spots is no big deal. Jay Wright does it intentionally. So does Dana.

That said, I'll be thrilled with the NOLA boys if they do make it. We are going to find out soon on that one.

While I agree with mredle, I think worst case scenario is we get no one and have 2 empty scholarships. I'm assuming the coaches are hedging their bets and will land at least one more (hopefully 2) in the next week or so.

The fact of the matter is that whether we lose out on Bowen or Waters or we get the NOLA duo, we still have 2 empty scholarships next year. If we get the NOLA twins we just have all available scholarships being used. That brings into play what the coaches think about the class of 2018 and our position with players there

Maybe Bowen will commit to Creighton.... or maybe won't.

Only time will tell.

Did you know that "browbeating" is a 12-letter anagram of "Brian Tugs Bowen"? I feel like his decision-making process is browbeating a bunch of different fan bases at this point.
