Tugs will be the 2nd most important player, behind Marcus. Tugs will start at the 3 due to talent and hard work. This could shape up into our best team ever?

Bowen won't/ wouldn't start before KT at the 3 - not a chance in the world!

2...3...4...whatever. He'd be starting. So would Taz and Marcus obviously. Not sure the # labels really work or matter at this point.

So is there a real possibility that we start a 1, 2, 2, 3 and 3?
PG= you name him.
2 =Marcus Foster
2= Khyri Thomas
3= Tugs Bowen
3= Ronnie Harrell

No.

There is a real possibility of not having a center though. Speaking of which...did the kid from Michigan visit this weekend? Fingers crossed on that one!

My concern with 'not worrying about labels' is how much size we will give up on the glass and defense by starting Brian at the 4. He is for sure a guard body type and would get abused by some of the PF's in conference.

Pretty safe bet, since Epperson is currently the only "center" on the roster for the start of the season.

If we were to land Tugs I just don't know where our frontcourt minutes would come from... Tugs is 6'7" under 200 pounds and Ronnie's not exactly a big-banger down low. I honestly think we go Toby and Martin at the 5 and then go small weight and size-wise the other 4 positions. Tugs and Ronnie would take the 4 with Khyri/Ballock at the 3, Marcus and TyShon at the 2 and Kaleb/Davion running the point. Tugs is a natural 3, but our roster is severely lacking a 4/5 combination that would work well together. Give us Donnal and Tugs and I feel a heck of a lot better about next year, but our lineups are still gonna look wacky.

Kobe, Tugs, Ballock and Ronnie honestly should all be playing the SF spot, but a 2 guard Khyri will most likely start there. For as bad as Mac handled the lineups last season let's hope for a miracle turnaround and magic-finding with 2017-18s lineups.

I share your concern
