Yeah, his Dad didn't have a clue as to why all that money suddenly appeared in his account!

The jeep of which he speaks...scroll down the story if you care.

Goodman has gone way downhill since he left for ESPN.

What matters is what Bruce, Coach Mac, & the NCAA thinks Irt Tugs' innocence or guilt.

IMO we should offer Tugs a chance. He may not accept our offer waiting for another name school. If he accepts he (or school) submits paperwork for reinstatement. NCAA will either reinstate immediately, in 5-6 months, or not.
If he's okayed we have Khyri's replacement, if not we wasted a semesters worth of scholarship & still can use it for 2018.

It's a business decision. We're in an "arms race" with Nova & X. Top players don't fall our way like mana from heaven. If Bruce & Mac are okay with him - that's good enough for me.

There is talent that doesn’t come with FBI investigators and massive parental issues.

I like our recruiting. No need to jump in that mess.

The thing I love about this year's team is their incredible unselfishness, how they play for each other and not for themselves. Early on in Mac's tenure he made a statement about one of the things that he learned at Iowa State was the importance of culture, more so than the talent of some of the players he was able to get to Ames. How you do "business" may have more to do with your success than those you do "business" with. We are competing with Villanova, maybe we can learn something from Jay Wright and the culture he has built there. P'Allen was a talented player - there is a lesson in that. My guess is that when Tugs asked his dad why he couldn't go to Arizona to play his dad said, "It's a business decision."

Exactly - from accounts on this board, the players on the team are not fans of Tugs and the drama he created during his recruitment. No way we should bring him in here.

Just saw Tugs on ESPN....where he blames "greedy adults". I assume he does not consider himself an adult and as a victim. Im personally okay with everything but the hairdoo...thats the real crime

Excellent points all.

For clarity-Mac had a Losing Culture at Ia. State. That speaks volumes.
He was a surprise hire. Coach had Lawson, Echenique, and others - and had a unspectacular 1st season. Coach's epiphany and his "conversion" to an uptempo style in the CBI endeared him to the fan base and is the reason he's won and still here. When Mac won The Valley, Bruce was proven as genius. Eight years of playing UNI ball would not have cut it here.

We're in BEast year 5...time to win a championship at this level.
