With all due respect to vivid_dude, this makes my point. The predictors make Oregon the new favorite for 2 reasons, 1) it is the most recent place he visited and 2) it is a good program with recent NCAA success. There is no information or insight there that was new. Before Oregon became the favorite contributors to this site made the same point. Since those points were made here, others have chimed in with reasons why Oregon would not likely be where he lands. Equally insightful and providing greater depth than the predictor sites. Predictor sites provide some information about the athletes (schools that have offered, trips they've taken, recruiters for the schools that are pursuing together with estimated height and weight). But predictions about where they will land are offered for entertainment. Like Stephen A. Smith, they provoke. They also give people another form of horse race, they give you people to validate your hopes or dash them. Whose horse is going to come in. The fact that this part of their product is entertainment and not informational doesn't demean the product. Sport itself is entertainment. I'm tired now of this topic though not of our pursuit of Tugs. Vivid_dude, here is a selfie I just took. Now do I look like a troll?

With Bowen predictions don't matter. With a lot of recruits they are a good indicator. Predictions don't mean anything on this kid tho, he could pick Arizona tmrw if Alkins stays in the draft.
