Don't incoming freshman usually come to Omaha by mid-June to work out with the team? I assume Tugs cannot come here this summer on Creighton's dime. Doesn't this already set him behind the rest of the team if he does commit and sign paperwork in August?

Yes. Typically unofficial workouts begin in June. John Bishop hit the nail on the head yesterday on 1620. Regardless of where Tugs ends up, he's put himself in an unnecessarily difficult situation. Not only is he behind in terms of building team relationships, but he's a 5-star who will have already high expectations and he's now piling on even more expectations by dragging out this recruitment in such a ridiculous fashion. At some point, coaches, fans etc. have to decide whether the "juice was worth the squeeze", as John put it. Tugs better be one hell of an impact player right off the bat after this dramatic recruitment, otherwise people will inevitably think he wasn't worth the effort.

Rivals Roundtable with predictions on Bowen. 2 for Oregon, 1 for CU. All of them mention CU as a heavy player.

??? I read that as all 3 for the Ducks.

Reading is hard ok

It's o.k. If you keep working on it, you'll master it eventually.

Bossi: Ducks are the team to beat.
McDonald: Momentum pointing to the Ducks.
Peek: At the end of the day, he'll be a Duck. (Despite also saying CU is the team to beat)

Oregon, Oregon, Oregon.

I think I read it, came back and posted later and misremembered Peek saying Creighton. Thanks m8

And what do they actually know? Not so much. As soon as Johnson says he's going to OU watch them flip.

If we see Tugs in Omaha at the College World Series that's a good sign. 8-)
