FWIW, according to the Louisville article they offered him and were recruiting him way back (2014-15) and for whatever reasons moved on later. So his family's reaching out to Louisville was a reconnection, not an out of the blue move. It's just basketball recruiting- I don't understand the hating?

Yes. THREE years ago, then everyone parted ways and Louisville hasn't been mentioned since.

This is not "just" recruiting. Nobody else has been like this. And I'm not hating - just over this kid who may never end up being a factor anyway. And frustrated to think we've probably missed out on some good kids who wanted to be here while he strung us along. I don't understand why some are do desperate to think maybe he will come back a year later after snubbing us.

Funny how this rears its ugly head amongst a lot on here only after the writing was on the wall. I've felt for a couple months that this whole charade was horse shit and that this clown wasn't worth our dignity.

Well now at least we are all on the same page.

And for all the excuse makers who will be replying with the boilerplate response of 'this is how things are done in recruiting'...pfft. What we have here at CU is of high quality and desirable. I refuse to be someone's side chick just because he has an extra star by his name.

I just really, truly hope we didn't pass on a date with Mary Ann because we were sitting by the phone waiting for Ginger to call.

Interesting to me how Peter LeFleur seems to be the philosophical guru here: "Aim Low"

I agree it was pretty obvious months ago that he wasn't really interested in Creighton-I Moved on. Hopefully the staff learned from the experience. I'm pumped for the class we landed-amazing stuff for a guy who bought season fix during the Rick Johnson tenure.
My brother and I used to say that drownin' in beer was like heaven, eh? Now he's not here, and I've got two soakers... this isn't heaven. This sucks! Bob McKenzie
