We have a 5 star player that we are hoping to land and have some fan complaining about a starting line up. The roster isn't set. Martin is a tough match up. Ronnie is a tough match up. Toby played a lot of center this year. Remember the other team has to match up with us. I feel a scoring explosion coming next year. Go Jays!

247sports now has Creighton as a 16% chance of signing Bowen, up from 0%.
Jerry Meyers, Dylan Prezkop, and Mark Miller all have Creighton as the choice.
Also on rivals, Eric Bossi and Krysten (forgot to write the last name) have Creighton as the choice.
Bowen was quoted as saying 2 days ago that he wants minutes and he says he can maybe play the 4 spot on defense.

My concern with 'not worrying about labels' is how much size we will give up on the glass and defense by starting Brian at the 4. He is for sure a guard body type and would get abused by some of the PF's in conference.

I share your concern

Huff started the past two years so we aren't giving up anything on the glass or defensive end. Tugs is more athletic and healthy at this point so I think this would be an upgrade.

Monday, April 17, 2017 at 8:42am. Tugs watch continues....

I just want to refresh Twitter one of these days and see a tweet about him joining Creighton.

Can you imagine if we landed Tugs and Tremont... and Donnal? That would put us 1 over, though. But a POTENTIAL roster of:
Marcus Foster- Sr
Khyri Thomas- Jr
Tugs Bowen (?)-Fr
Toby Hegner- Sr
Tremont Waters (?)- Fr
Ronnie Harrell- Jr
Martin Krampelj- Soph
Mitch Ballock - Fr
Ty-Shon Alexander- Fr
Mark Donnal (?)- Sr
Kaleb Joseph- Jr
Davion Mintz- Soph
Kobe Paras- Soph
Jacob Epperson- Fr

Damn.. a guy can dream. The downside to landing all 3 of those guys is someone would likely be leaving, which you never want to see. I'm interested in everyone's opinions on which of the 3 guys we're after (Tugs, Tremont, Donnal) we have the best chance of landing? And what I'm what order you want those 3?

Most likely, IMO: 1. Tugs, 2. Donnal 3. Waters
Most I want: 1. Tugs 2. Waters 3. Donnal

Start another thread if you want to change the main subject. That way I can ignore both of you.

They could have even added "blonde-haired" recruit if they wanted to..
