In fairness the kid has had a hectic schedule. Finishing his high school schedule, Dick's Nationals, all-star games. The JBC was just played last Saturday.

He stated after the JBC that he & family would be focused on making a decision. Only 2 weeks left in April, so we'll know soon enough.

As far as Crystal Ball predictions go, this guy's been pretty good, finishing in the Top 5 consistently on correct picks. He has Bowen to Creighton and Waters to Western Kentucky. Really really hoping that Sparty is right in saying the Jays are the favorite.

If I'm Bowen and I see Trier and Bridges coming back (both to play wing) I would definitely look somewhere I could shine. Like I said before, lineups are gonna be tricky but he'll definitely get a starting gig here. Not gonna lie I'll be pretty distraught (think Baylor, Rhode Island losses) if we miss out on Tugs. His recruiting saga has had so many ups and downs from the DePaul away game to his visits to Zona and MSU and awaiting a snap commitment right after. If he goes with Oregon or NC State who are making a late push that would definitely suck. Every bone in my body is telling me to keep expectations low, but this would be a huge step for the Jays program and I can't help letting the optimism creep in. Come on Tugs, make the right choice!

The longer it take Bowen to sign, I think the better our chances and the lowering of MSU chances.
I would like to think we are 50%, Ariz. 35% and MSU 15%. This is only my opinion as of today.

The hiring of Huss can't hurt. Head coach at LaLu for three years and has remained close to the program.

I like playing the "which NBA player does XXXX remind you of" game, but am having a tough time with Bowen (I initially typed "Tugs," but that felt weird). I saw that Bleacher Report compared him to retired NBA player Jason Richardson - who is his uncle, so maybe that's a lazy comparison. Anybody got a good one?

Some names that crossed my mind, but that I didn't love, were: Andre Iguodala, Gordon Hayward, best case scenario Carmelo Anthony, Thabo Sefolosha, Cedric Maxwell (old school). The more I think about it, the more I like Sefolosha. Any others?

He reminds me of Mike Dunleavy, Jr.

At this stage, Tugs isn't outstanding at one specific skill, but he is very good at a lot of things on the court.

Gordon Hayward. Around the same size. Good shooter and can finish around rim. Born scorer

i rwmember reading somewhere that he shot 20 something percent from 3 this year so im not sure he is a "good" shooter but he did shoot it well at the Jordan Brand Classic.
