I would say the chances of a player walking on (again) are slim to none. Yes, it has happened three years in a row, but those were all pretty unique situations - a coach's son, a fifth year transfer who wanted best fit regardless of scholarship availability, and another senior who was enrolled in a master's program and had grades high enough to go to school for free and even get stipends I think, so he essentially got paid to come back to school. If we take on another player, someone currently on the roster will be transferring.

So you don't want to speculate, but want to speculate. Got it.

Very unlikely. Don't count on this as part of the plan.

But it is also nice to have a 5th year senior who's Dad makes some decent coin coaching in the National Basketball Association. Kind of a unique situation like we have had the past three years if you ask me

Hopefully he is not unemployed. Scott Brooks just got hired by the Wizards.

I don't think it would be unrealistic to ask a 5th year Senior, who has had injury problems every year he's been here to pay his way. Just because your a walk on at Creighton doesn't mean you don't contribute. Hell, Doug, Ricky and Geoff were arguably our best or second best players their respective years.

It would be a pretty big bummer if the Jays were to lose IZ to another injury this year, especially since he just had surgery. I sincerely hope no one on the roster is forced out. This group seems tight and I worry that could damage the chemistry.

I think if I recall...I was literally laughed at and called a moron for stating this a month ago. So be prepared.
