Highly recruited but he played decent minutes (10 mpg) at Kentucky and his stats were horrible. 44% FG, 25% 3PT, 41%FT.......

I'm all for grabbing oodles of talent but I'd rather roll with the guys who chose to be apart of this program for the onset instead of recruiting over them before the get here.

Let's not kid ourselves. If he has interest in playing at Creighton, he will be a Bluejay.

no disputing that. My point is we should not be breaking down walls to grab a SG when we have two guys ready to step in right away and play. No one enjoys the transfer market more than I do but they should not come at the cost of top 50 recruits we already have.

Will the Jays have interest in StJ's Sima?

The Big East won't allow him to transfer to another Big East team unless they changed that this year. It's a dumb rule that should be changed. Go Jays!

He's not a good fit for the quick tempo the Jays like to play, anyway.

I don't see that Sima would be of interest to us for the reasons Jaypak outlined.

However, this is the first mid-year period that we actually have an available scholarship to offer for a transfer. It will be interesting to see if we are active in the transfer market at all in a week or so.

Don't we have two?

A center needs to be a priority. Obviously the staff is aware of this. I don't know how good Hunter Thompson would've been but it seems like he would've taken some time to bulk up. Would be nice to add a big guy in a transfer instead.

2016 C Harry Froling is transferring from SMU. Played 15 min/gm averaging 4 ppg and 3 rbg. Not sure how hard we recruited him initially or if there is any interest...
