Will return to school and transfer from Kentucky. This is exactly the guy we're looking for I hope there is mutual interest.

To clarify on that first sentence, he was in the draft and just decided to withdraw today. Then will transfer from Kentucky.

His numbers from last season aren't horrible: 6.4 ppg, 6 rpg, 1.6 bpg playing 21 mpg. Okay athlete who can't shoot dribble or pass. He's also only managed to add about 10 lbs to his body in 3 years at Kentucky. He was going to see very few minutes next year.

Seems like a guy that could really use the year off to work on his game. He's an intriguing player to reach out to, but I wouldn't be surprised if the staff passes.

Looking to move closer to his family, which is in California. I don't think Creighton is an option.

Omaha is technically closer to California than Lexington, I guess.

Is there a reason that any big-time transfer gets his own thread regardless of whether there's any connection to the program? It feels Husker-esque (i.e., delusional and embarrassing) when we have a thread about every transfer from Kentucky or some other blueblood program without some credible source connecting Creighton to the transfer.

I'll gladly eat my words, but I can't imagine a scenario in which Marcus Lee transfers to Creighton.

Ya I definitely jumped the gun on this one. Just got excited because of how few quality big men have been available this offseason.

I agree, take this post down unless we have a connection.
