Hibma ended up as a doctor, fyi. Not sure who you would be confusing him with.

I’m really hoping that you’re being sarcastic here, mannygakou

Even Hibma would know who I was talking about. Here is an excerpt from an article upon his induction into Iowa H.S. Hall of Fame:

Pierce is the career scoring leader at Pella, but he stated, “Kyle Korver (currently in the NBA on the Cleveland Cavaliers) was the best player to come through Pella High.

He was an impressive representative of CU, so I have always had respect for him:

Pierce was the epitome of a student-athlete, he was on the IBCA’s Academic All-State team. He was recruited by Creighton University and following a red-shirt year contributed to the Jays’ success as a valuable reserve and part-time starter averaging 7.5 points per game in 120 contests.

He played on two NCAA and two NIT teams. He earned MVC Scholar Athlete honors. He continued his studies at Creighton, entering their college of medicine, and earning his degree.

He is currently a physician in Emergency Medicine at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem, NC. He and his wife Monique and children, Layla, Kadeem and Zia live in Advance, NC.

In Omaha this weekend. Good place for Creighton to make pitch to Xavier prior to all the bluebloods seeing him this AAU season

Don't believe Creighton is involved any more. Iowa State is probably his destination.

Yep, no surprise.

Iowa State's recruiting class now ranks No. 14 in the @247Sports Team Rankings with the addition of No. 59 Xavier Foster. Also have pledges from Dudley Blackwell, Jaden Walker & Darlinstone Dubar.

ESPN 100 center Xavier Foster just announced for Iowa State. Chose the Cyclones over Iowa.

Foster is No. 51 in 2020. Really good pickup for Steve Prohm.

Iowa State now has four pledges in the 2020 class, including two ESPN 100 prospects.

Might be fun to see Foster and Kalkbrenner head to head someday ;)
