Iowa Western big-man is beginning to garner high-major interest as one of the best posts in the JC ranks. Lake's from US Virgin Islands and spent time in Virginia prior to the past two years with the Reivers. Lake's averaging 13 & 7 on 70% from the field. Iowa State, Kansas State, West Virginia & Kansas are interested. He's been to a Creighton game or two as a guest I believe.

Looks like the type of big body banger some fans have been wanting. If JP leaves and we don't get Tugs, why not bring on this kid along with Epperson? ISU, KSU, and WVU are all legit major teams.

He was at a game recently. He is a big man. We could use him big time and he would flourish here

Hilltop, I'm assuming we haven't offered because we're waiting on Tugs, no?

We've got 2 spots open for sure and possibly a 3rd...IF Toby graduates this year and stays aboard as a grad student in his 5th year.

I doubt we're waiting on JP. We're probbaly waiting on Tugs. Meaning, we don't wanna offer this kid and have him accept and then we have one spot left for Tugs/Epperson. And GTMO... Toby isn't going anywhere lol

Kansas and Iowa State seem to lead for Lake.
