Wonder what the coaches think of all this now. Certainly seems suspicious in light of the news today.

Woah. Mind blown. (If true. Hopefully it isn't.)

Well, if there is a reversal of heart and an attempt to recommit - it may hint of tampering, hot collars, cold adidas sweaty feet, etc. This investigation will put a quick halt to such extra-curricular activities - temporarily. Let's see what transpires on his NC State sojourn. Perhaps he and family sincerely want him closer to home? Moving on.

The signs were right. He committed to NC State.

I hate this loss as I don't think Creighton has had a kid like this before. And he was so passionate about recruiting for Creighton. Painful, but you move on.

I'm excited to find out how much NC State and Adidas value his services. My guess is we'll find out soon enough.

I guess we will see if they did a better job of covering their tracks.

I guess if he really wanted to play closer to home, can't fault him for that. Timing is weird given the enthusiasm he showed after committing. Wish him the best

I mean, it's more of a head scratcher towards him; he's the one looking awkward given his "all systems go!" Creighton recruiting mission... If I were any of the other players on his twitter account that he reached out to, I'd be, "Ummmmmm...WTF is up with this guy?"

Having said that, I will never fault a player for ultimately choosing to play closer to home, etc. Choosing a college is a big, high energy, high emotional decision and we're dealing with 17 year olds that can get caught up in things. So I have no ill feelings towards Steere. I would hope he would come back around and recommit (but realize that's a long shot statistically).

Personally, I'd rather not count any player until they actually sign and not to talk too much out of both sides of my mouth (re: choosing a college is high energy, high emotional...17 year old, etc), I'd like to see players be able to sign as early if they really choose.
