I don't like to put a lot of stock into 3 or 4 minute highlight videos of kids because you get just that...the highlights. With that said, I find the workout videos of him really impressive, more from a physicality and smoothness standpoint for someone his size and age. To me, he by far looks more college basketball ready than a lot of people I have seen on video at least. And remember, he has another year to develop and grow into his body. Very excited about Mr. Steere. Welcome to The Hilltop!

I don't usually get excited at all for recruits. They're just high school kids and we've seen 4 stars turn into duds and guys like Jahenns Manigat turn into huge pieces to a team. But Ian Steere changes that for me. What a freaking beast of a dude. So excited for this pickup.

His quotes were great too. Sounds like he knew what was a "good fit" for him.
