Transfers 2017

Grad Transfer

Transfers (Sit One & Play One)

Transfers (Sit one & Play Two)

Transfers (Sit One & Play Three)

Dejon Jarreau (6-5 PG) - UMass - 9.8ppg, 3.6rpg, 4.5apg, 24.4% from 3, 64.4% from FT
- Jays were high on Jarreau out of high school. He'd be eligible for 3 seasons and could be the next great Creighton PG in waiting. A year off could help his shooting.

Brison Gresham (6-9 PF) - UMass - 3.3ppg, 3.2rpg, 0.3apg, 1.0bpg, 62.3% from FG, 26.9% from FT
- Numbers aren't staggering but Gresham is a hard working big who does little things. A year off could help him develop a more skilled offensive game to go with his hard-nosed aspect of his game.

Creighton has one spot open at the moment. This spot is reserved for 2017 scoring forward Brian Bowen. The Jays will continue to monitor recruit until they hear where Bowen plans on landing. A roster spot can also open up if Justin Patton gets good intel from the NBA and he decides to leave early. Current projections have him anywhere from 12-20. Foster has also been reported to exploring his options professionally. The Jays have been active in the transfer market the last 3 seasons and I anticipate they will be going after at least one transfer/grad

If Patton goes, Whitman should be a priority

they'll be better options as time goes on. Of this list of confirmed transfers I don't see Creighton pushing hard for any. I think Wilson has a high-upside. I think he got into some hot water with NIU. The Jays will have a pretty short rope for any transfer with questionable character moving forward.

Thanks Hilltop. Is the staff still holding the spot open specifically for Tugs, or is the situation now more fluid?

The staff is banking on all the players coming back right now. Not sure if everyone will be back but the staff would prefer to role into the 17-18 year with this roster

Toby Hegner (R-Sr.)
Marcus Foster (R-Sr.)
Ronnie Harrell (R-Jr.)
Khyri Thomas (Jr.)
Kaleb Joseph (R-Jr.)
Jusitn Patton (R-So.)
Martin Krampelj (R-So.)
Davion Mintz (So.)
Kobe Paras (So.)
Ty'Shon Alexander (Fr.)
Mitch Ballock (Fr.)
Jacob Epperson (Fr.)
Brian Bowen (Fr.)

So where does that leave us with Roberts Blumbergs?

my guess is that by the time he gets here we will know if there are any departures from the current roster.
