Spring Signing Period

Tue Apr 11, 2017 11:42 pm

With the signing period here, who do we sign? I would think Jacob Epperson would sign very soon to fill one spot. Do we get Tugs for the second open spot. That would make this a great class. As for the third spot, who knows but it might be some one like Brady Ernst who we recruited out of high school. Here's wishing the Staff good luck and may it be a great signing period. Go Jays!

It would sure be nice waking up in the morning and finding out Creighton has signed Epperson, Tugs and another big man or PG.
This is what I would call getting up on the right side of the bed.

Sure is quiet. I hope things start falling into place for the Staff. Go Jays!

Well, just like the Muddy Mo... calm, even placid on the surface. But you know there is a current moving underneath. C'mon Mac & staff.

247sports has Creighton at #20 for 2017 recruiting class but if you look at the average score of each recruit, Creighton sits at the 8th best recruiting class up to this point. Manny suarez is not included in the ratings. A 4 star PG would greatly improve this class.

I think Coach Murphy has 1 more closing in him this spring.

I think it is rude for incoming freshmen to not sign a LOI by May17th. It's a little different for transfers as they only have a short time to make their decision, unlike some of the incoming freshmen have had a couple of years to decide. In the case of Bowen, I think he has carried this on for way too long. This really puts teams/schools in a tough spot.

How? Unless a team actually passes on somebody else willing to sign to hold a spot open, how does it put the school in a tough spot? The school can tell these kids that they are moving on and not waiting at any time. Right now, there is no indication we have passed or missed on anyone else because of this.
