Boston College wing, AJ Turner is leaving the Eagles following two productive years in the ACC. Former 4 star recruit was recruited HEAVILY by Preston Murphy at URI and eventually committed and signed to Murphy at BC. Originally from Michigan. Similar player to Cole Huff, not as good of a shooter. Better athlete and more complete game. GREAT student.

Sit one, play two.

Freshman: 5.9 ppg - 3.6rpg - 1.6apg - FT: 68.6% - 3P%: 37.4%
Sophomore: 8.4ppg - 3.3rpg - 3.0apg - FT: 67.5% - 3P%: 36.0%

No but I bet you Ronnie could, if given a fair chance.

I question your knowledge of basketball. Turner is a forward. Not a guard.

I understand, now. I thought he was a guard. But go ahead and question my knowledge for misunderstanding!

He's listed at 6'7" and 188 pounds. Cole is listed at 6'8" ad 205 and we saw how much trouble he had holding his own at the four. Why would we want to go smaller at that position, especially for a lesser shooter?

that's fair but you can't tell me we got 6-8, 205 out of Cole these last two years, for obvious injury reasons. Turner is more athletic and plays well above where Huff played. Reports I read were that Turner was BC's most active player (not sure how much that's saying). Just passing on what i've been relayed. :D

Glad he passed.
