SIGNED!

His shoulders are about as wide as a car. Hope we can get some decent production from him.

Love his highlights!

He looks like he'll be very serviceable to at least provide some beef in the middle to protect our guards.

Welcome!

I'll just leave this video here:

He did grab 14 rebounds in a game against St. Bonaventure as a freshman at Fordham. A team that by the way plays against Rhode Island a lot, a team that we couldn't rebound a lick against.

that sure embraces 'let it fly' - but he might have to learn to play at pace a little bit.

Welcome aboard Manny!

We desperately needed depth at the 5, and this will allow us to ease Epperson in as well.

Problem solved...

Now, let's ink Bowen and Waters and call it a day. What a class!

Senior. He played one year for Fordham (2014-15), then two years at DII Adelphi. So he'll spend one year at CU. Perfect stop-gap player to buy time for Epperson.

Not a spectacular or flashy signing by any means, but he's a big dude at 6'10" and 240 that seems to be aggressive on the glass. If nothing else, he'll give the Jays a big body and five fouls a game to defend other Big East posts with.

The big question is can he defend without fouling, because his foot speed isn't great. If he can, maybe he can get the Jays four or five boards a game -- he was a good rebounder at the DII level and that's a skill that translates better to high-level DI hoops better than most. Positioning and want-to are half the battle on the glass, and he's not going to be pushed around with his beefy frame.
