I really liked what he had to say. I'm a fan of his already.

Helluva piece on Manny here from KETV's Thor Tripp, as he discusses the health scare that nearly ended his basketball career (and his life).

Thor is solid. Great piece and ditto on the Ballock interview during "Mac to OSU Night."

Good piece.

Has anyone seen the summer work and gotten a feel for whether Manny will be a solid contributor this season at the Big East level? We need him.

Love the article. I'm excited for this kid to show that hustle. I am a little concerned that his Adelphi coach's name was David Duke and we are recruiting another player named David Duke. As long as Creighton's targeting of David Dukes stops there, we should be okay.

I watched Manny play in the summer league last night. He Impressed me with his fluidness and confidence. He isn't a guy who just stands around. He likes the ball and has a good touch with his shot. He is leaner than I thought he would be. You can tell he is an experienced player just the way he plays. I think Manny at this point will back up Hegner at the center spot to begin the season. I saw very little of Epperson as his team was playing on a different court. I watched Ballock and it appeared like his shot was a tad off. Ballock was bigger and stronger than I thought. Ty-shon looked pretty good from what I saw and I believe he was playing pt. guard. I wish Dunkum was playing summer ball and listed on the Creighton Roster.
