Keion's gotta be 40 by now. Let's get PF Ezeagu and Mahoney then call it a day. ;)

Pretty tough off-season so far. Gotta hope there's one more transfer or two that can jump in.

...are there any international players still out there?

Today is the last day players can sign a LOI. If they don't sign today, they will have to wait until after they have enrolled in school. I'm not sure why anyone would not want to sign during the last signing day. Hopefully we can get one to sign today.
I still love our incoming class and the same goes for last year. I am excited for the season to begin.

It appears that the 2018 class is set. What are people's feelings on it?

Looking at Rivals rankings, the Jays nabbed one Top 150 guy (Christian Bishop at #114). Marcus Z and Sam Froling fell short, but that's okay. Some transfers are coming in. I always wonder how guys like Froling would be currently ranked if they committed to Arizona (who was in pursuit) instead of a perceived inferior program, like Creighton. Probably higher, but I'd never claim that publicly since conspiracy theories are stupid. Shit, I just did.

If I had to bottom-line it, our 2017 class seems to have been better, but I still like 2018. Losing Ian Steere hurt. If 2019 commitments start with Shareef Mitchell and Zach Harvey, I'd be happy.

I had some fun digging through previous Rivals rankings. It's so weird to see that CU's very own Kaleb Joseph was ranked #46 in the same class where Karl Anthony Towns was ranked #6. Seems like KAT has been in the NBA forever.

Rivals had Bishop as Creighton's top guy, ESPN had Zegarowski as their top guy, the 247sports rating had Froling as their top guy. 247sports also had Froling ahead of Steere, for whatever that's worth. My feeling is you're right to be pleased with 2018 as a follow-up to a promising 2017 class.

Evaluations also depend on what recruiting service you are looking at. I prefer to look at 247sports for my recruiting info.

By that metric, CU had a Top 40 recruiting class (4th in the Big East) with 2 recruits in the Top 150 (and Bishop in at 161). All of them were 4-star recruits by 247's metric (some were high 3-star composite).

We snagged a Top Guard, a Solid Forward, and a 7ft athletic Center. That's a really good class. Steere would have made it an outstanding class (possibly one of the best ever) but you can't let that de-commit detract from the fantastic influx of talent this class will make.
