Might be best case Scenario for him given that he is still a bit small, also Mintz and Zegarowski are ahead of him.

I suppose it's possible he could RS, but I would think we'd want to give him some minutes to get him ready for that combo role the following year. I also think he brings a defensive style that we don't otherwise have on the team.

Mac usually says that the decision on RS is largely up to the player -- I can't imagine SM wants to sit out and wait yet another year to start playing for Creighton. Too early to know for sure, but right now I'd be pretty surprised if he redshirts. Especially with MZ coming off injuries and surgeries -- and with his defensive mindset that we really need.

Reef is too good of player to redshirt. I’m expecting significant contributions from him this season.

I thought a redshirt year would serve him well back when he committed and it still might, but if he's really put on 20 pounds this past year it would go a long way towards allowing him to hold his own right away. I don't know how many minutes will be available for him this season, but I do think his defense is good enough to get him on the court this season even if he doesn't play a ton.

Jacob, did you see him at the holiday tourney? Grew an inch or so and definitely filled out his frame. And that was back in December. He and Chris Hickman were trying to figure out who weighed more at the time.

I talked to him a couple weeks ago. He definitely put in some work down in Kansas.
