getting crowded for Tremont. Jays still interested but Duke, Kentucky and others beginning to sniff around.

Tremont Waters

Couldn't find his old thread, so anyone feel free to send these posts over to that. Anyways, Jeff Borzello just tweeted: "Tremont Waters mentioned Creighton, Kansas and UConn have reached out. Also still considering Georgetown, recently met with Patrick Ewing."

Interesting as we have two point guards on the roster already.

i did see an article talking about Patrick Ewing and recruiting - and how he had been through the process and didn't expect it had changed much since then.

uhhhh - yeah - go with that Patrick.

Also odd because he can't play for creighton.
He signed a LOI at Georgetown and even though he was released he's not allowed to play at any other BE team for the rest of his career per BE rules. So not sure why Creighton wasted their time.

Doesn't Special Note 3 make Waters eligible at CU?

Is there a loophole to this? Your coach getting canned? A revision made? That was drafted in 2005.

I can't imagine something so simple being missed by our coaches.

From what I'm told it still applies in the new Big East. Perhaps Creighton wasn't aware since you're still new to the BE and it's rules.

Edit:
Butler has it listed in their 2016 student athlete handbook so it is still a current policy.
