Class of 2022

Postby fritzpointer » Tue Mar 03, 2020 2:26 pm

Isaac Traudt a guard out of Grand Island will visit Saturday. He is 6-7 or 6-8 and grew 6-8 inches since last spring. I've seen him play 3 times. He has good range and can handle the ball. Don't know how good he can get but I'm glad we're we are taking a look, Go Jays!

Good catch. I've heard some good things about him, but haven't seen him play. With him and Green in 2022 Nebraska's continuing to put out some good BBall talent. Happy to see we're having him in for a visit

Him growing 6-8" is an exaggeration. He was at least 6'4" as a freshman last year IIRC. But he's definitely a guy worth tracking. He's got a long way to go and his shot selection needs a lot of work, but his shooting touch is terrific and he can hit shots off the dribble too. Averaged 17 and 6 this season on 43-36-76 shooting splits, and they had him handling the ball quite a bit.

He was at the Xavier game too. I ran into him and Jasen Green and their dads in a concessions line. Lusk was at GI's District final at Prep on Monday night. He didn't play very well overall but showed some flashes.

Jacob you bring a lot to this board but if the information doesn't come from you then it's wrong. I heard his Coach make this statement about his growth, It's not here say. Go Jays!

I watched him play last year in December and during the spring and summer. He wasn't 6'.

No in house, no 'official' no 'unofficial', no texting, phone calls, emails, letters?

What does No mean in the world of always be recruiting?

Interest picking up in Traudt. D-Rock was the first to offer him and Wyoming and Northern Colorado followed suit.
