He's "young for his class" And reclassifying up to 2018? Must be a bright kid.
When do we expect him to visit? Nevermind...

I really like our chances with A J.

“I’m going to choose the place where I can feel comfortable in playing my game, an offense that has real flow. Also extremely important to me and my family; I look for a good relationship with the coaches, somewhere I can feel like home.”

Elias Sbiet - North Pole Hoops
"He has size, length, and athleticism. He will be one of the top players in the NCAA when he gets there. I have had him listed as the number one player in Canada three years in a row. He has shown immense growth in every year since I have rated him. His jump shot and speed at which he plays the game continue to get better."

AJ Lawson (for Vivid)
"I am a 6-foot-7 point guard. I can pass, score the ball, and make good decisions. I can also get steals with my long arms. Coaches like that I can push the ball in transition, score, and look for my teammates."

I saw article where it noted his dad was from South Carolina, a very short distance from the U of South Carolina. He also has a visit set there first on June 1. Seems to be our major competitor. Need to convince him to visit CU before he decides.

I love 6'7" point guards. If we end up with Denzell and a reclassified 2018 Lawson, what was perceived to be a disappointing recruiting offseason would all of a sudden be pretty strong. Lawson lives in Canada - get Jahenns on the phone.

Creighton is soon to have 5 (maybe 6) (Marcus in the 2nd Round) NBA pros, current pros. It was said previously that they get lockers in the Championship Ctr.
I guess that only applies to the NBA guys, and Jahenns, Justin Carter, and the many others overseas pros don't have such a privilege. (Maybe they get lockers in the old gym??)

It is certainly a good thing for a program to be able to continue to put 5, possibly 6, players in the NBA and have a fair amount play overseas as well no question. But then I always have to remind myself that granted those 5 (6) players span a decade+ yet the program still hasn't been able to crack the 2nd weekend of the NCAA's.
